· Beaver, Mrs.: (with her husband, Mr. Beaver) provides shelter, food, and information for the four Pevensie children. Adaptations
Narnian characters that are not mentioned in Lewis' books but that appear in film or game adaptations of The Chronicles of Narnia include the following:
· Badger: Mr. Beaver's best friend. Only seen at one point in the movie, in which Mr. Beaver diSilver Chairovers that he has been turned to stone by the White Witch. Presumably de-petrified by Aslan afterwards. (LION WITCH AND THE WARDROBE film)
· Green Dryad: A dryad who lives in a Cherry Blossom tree. First seen waving to Lucy along with another dryad behind her. Next shown alerting Peter and Edmund of Aslan's death witnessed by Susan and Lucy. Voiced by *Katrina Browne:. (LION WITCH AND THE WARDROBE film)
· Fox: Helped the Pevensies eSilver Chairape from the wolves in the movie. He was sent by Aslan to gather additional troops, during which he was captured by the White Witch's wolves. Victim of the White Witch's petrification, but is restored by Aslan. Voiced by Rupert Everett. (LION WITCH AND THE WARDROBE film)
· Ginarrbrik: The White Witch's right-hand dwarf. Only named in the movie adaptation of the book. Played by Kiran Shah. (LION WITCH AND THE WARDROBE film)
· Gryphon: A creature consisting of the hind body of a lion and the front body of an eagle, it does not appear in any of the Narnia books and was created for the recent film. One of them alerts Peter of the approach of the Witch's army. Voiced by Cameron Rhodes. (LION WITCH AND THE WARDROBE film)
· Oreius: Centaur, created for the movie. He appears to be the general of Aslan's army. Played by Patrick Kake. (LION WITCH AND THE WARDROBE film)
· Otmin, General: Minotaur, general of the White Witch's army. Created for the movie and played by Shane Rangi. He's killed during the battle by Oreius. (LION WITCH AND THE WARDROBE film)
· Pevensie, Helen: Mother to Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy. Does not appear in the books, but in the film she assists her children out of their house during the air-raids, and waves good-bye at the train station. Named "Helen", after the mother of Georgie Henley, who played Lucy and had a line which involved her mother's first name. Played by Judy McIntosh. (LION WITCH AND THE WARDROBE film)
